Subject: [ferrethealth] Discoloration of noses
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi - I am new to this forum, but not new to ferrets. However I have a perplexing thing going
on in my seven ferret household. The bridge on most of my ferrets' noses is turning
brownish. I have seen this on my older ferrets in the past. The coloration seems to come and
go. But now almost all the ferrets have it.

Is this from their food or treats? I have used Totally Ferret for years with no issues, and I have
not changed their main diet. The only thing that is different is that we have been
experimenting with some treats (bandits mostly) and I wondered if there is a food dye or
something else I should be more concerned about.

Anyone else had this with their ferrets. Thanks.
