To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hi Dr. Sue, thanks so much for the reply.

I just spoke to the vet tech. They are in fact syringe-feeding her
Hill's A/D every 3-4 hours, so that's good. She is not taking the
feedings very well, not interested in eating. They also syringe-feed
her a little Nutrical.

They told me her list of medications over the phone, so please excuse
the misspellings. I hope they make sense:

Omiprozol - to calm the stomach
Flagel - also called metri-something...an antibiotic?
Carafate - calm stomach
Amoxi drops

She has been on those 4 drugs for nearly 6 days, since Saturday March
22nd, with no noticeable improvement.

They agreed with the prednisolone suggestion and started her on that
at 8am today. Since her glucose is hovering around around 60 but her
insulin levels are low, the vet seems to be leaning towards exocrine
pancreatic cancer...
