For this reason, I drop my ferret off for the day, and my vet gives
the Lupron injections. I only use the 4 month, 1mg dose. He is able
to give it early in the day, and can observe the ferret for at least
several hours afterward. I've never experienced a reaction, but have
heard of enough of them that I feel most comfortable if they are under
vet care. I also don't want to be the one to mess up the expensive 4
month injection. LOL
