Irene, thanks for your input and story. This is exactly how I feel. If the
vet were confident in doing the surgery I'd be fine with that but at least
as long as I'm at this particular vet Herb is not having surgery through
them. I think it's prudent to wait and see how the shot do for him. I don't
know if you know what the dose was for your baby? Vet gave 100mcg/0.1ml for
Herb. She told it would take about 3 months to see a change in him so it's
not an immediate thing. Maybe she's being careful? Because I asked how soon
should we see results. I feel comfortable taking this route. I am also
looking into second opinions, someone is helping me find a reputable ferret
vet (hopefully) in my area that I can try. I'm the only person I know that
owns ferrets so I don't have friends to ask.
I appreciate any tips, experiences and advice anyone wants to offer. Thank
you so much Irene.
