I just wanted to inform you of the results of Luna's biopsies. It
seems a lot was going on. There was indeed an intestinal ulcer. We
were trying to treat for it (multiple meds) but didn't seem to have
much success. We were also trying prednisolone since the ultrasound
showed pancreatic nodules, but that didn't work either.
>From the biopsies, she had lymphosarcoma present in her pancreas
primarily, and also in her spleen, adrenals, and liver. It is a small
comfort to me because I feel we tried everything we could, we made the
right choice when her time came, and she didn't suffer much. I just
wish we had been able to diagnose her cancer earlier.
