Good Morning Julie,
One of my guys just had a tumor removed from his ear. I had originally
thought one of my ferrets had bit him inside his ear because he would
scratch it causing it to bleed. When we got it cleaned out we
discovered the tumor inside his ear. The verdict was to remove it ASAP
becuse he did not know if it was benign or malignant (sp?). No mention
was ever made of nerve damage issues but from you picture - I think
Willie's tumor was deeper in his ear.
The surgery went great and you can not even tell there was a tumor in
there now. We are now waiting to get the test results back on the
tumor.
