Subject: [ferrethealth] Testing ferrets blood sugar with a glucose monitor

Hi everyone
I just got a question would it be safe for me to check my ferrets
sugar with my glucose blood monitor and if so what would I set the
needle clicker(not the name but my brain is on vacation right now)on 1
or 2

I want to make sure their sugar is good, Switch food and want to
check; not on raw yet have to sit my nephew down and go over it with
him as one ferret is his(he thinks is his )I have had her for over a
yr and take care of her and love her to death but he does help with
her food and litter and vet bill, pays half her vet bill even tho she
is his I pay half and don't care

Thanks
Bobbi
