Subject: [ferrethealth] sick ferret need help

I am new to yahoo groups as well as to this group. I have 2 ferrets,
Ricki and Lucy. Ricki is 6 months old and Lucy is a little over a
year. About 2 months ago Lucy started losing weight. I took her to
the vet and she could not find anything wrong and gave me some
powdered food (emeraid carnivore elemental diet). Lucy is a picky
eater but she loves this stuff, unfortunately she is still not putting
weight on. Other than being thin, she acts like her old self. Very
playful and inquisitive. She does not act like she is sick at all.
Lucy was my first ferret, so I do not have alot of ferret experience,
but I love my baby girl and am just sick at seeing her so thin. I
would appreciate any info or advice any one has. Thanks.
