Just a little observation: decades ago I worked with primates ( 2 types of Prosimians, 3
types of Apes, and one heck of a lot of genera of New World Monkeys) because I was
planning on going into primatology and physical anthropology until a serious, long
neuro-muscular illness forced me to cut my education short and heal.
Also, I have worked with a range of other animals in my life. Ferrets -- for me-- have as
wide a range of personalities as any of the monkeys I knew and that is saying a lot
because no other species I have worked with closely have that at least from my own
perspective.
Oh, and this note on asymmetric tail wgging may help some people with some of their
behavioral observations. Since I not all will be able to open the original link here are two
