Hi,

One of our kits from june 2007, a jill, got removed her abdomen in
january 2008, she didn't get in heat before she get her abdomen
removed, and for three day ago she start swolen up, and looks like
she gone into heat. And she behave likes she have kits, she is
confused..

The vet who had make the surgery say that he knows he have removed
the hole abdomen, so the guestion is, what can be wrong with her??

The vet wants to upen her friday, unfortunaly this vet hasen't
experince with ferret's and i'm afraid he don't know what to look
for.

I don't have the ferret my self, it is one of our buyer from last
year..

My own vet ( who have experince with ferrets ) say it can be
something with a tumor on the adrenal gland, but because she ain't
the one who is going to upen the jill, she can't say it for sure.

If it is a tumor on the adrenal gland, what about all the other kits
from the same litter, is this hereditary?

Is a surgery possible and what is the possibilitys for the jill to
have a normal life?

Had have ferrets since 1996, and never experince this before.

Hope somebody can help us.

Best regards
Anitta
