Subject: [ferrethealth] vet cant tell whats wrong
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

i have 3 ferrets, 1 male and 2 female. the youngest of the females i
took to the vet after waking up for work and seeing that she had
severe weakness to her back legs, had very runny stool, uncontrolable
urinating. the vet said it could be a number of infections, virusus,
etc. when i got her back (she did an over nighter at the vets) i
noticed that now included in the above symptoms a rash covering all
the skin around and near her anus, and vulva. they are both red, and
have a veiny rash covering the surrounded area. the vet said it was
from a high ph level in her urine. i have researched the symptoms for
2 days now and can find nothing that can pinpoint what the sorces of
her sikness is. if there is anybody that might know please respond.

Charlie
