Hi Ulrike,
Yes, you can dissolve the pills in water but DO NOT CRUSH them! They
dissolve very easily. What mg are they? There are many differing opinions on
how long to wait to give meds after sulcrafate/carafate has been given. I
believe it's at least 15 minutes, possibly longer. I give carafate during
the day too. It has no real medical properties (IMO) so when I think of it,
I give some. You can't OD them on it.
