Does anyone have any ideas why EVO would cause intestinal distress like this? I use it (I mix dog and cat food together) in addition to my natural diet, and I love it so much for both the ferrets and cats that I have stopped using any other brand. My original food mixes included the Innova cat food before EVO was available. I never had a problem with diarrhea or loose stools when switching foods.
I am really curious if anyone has theories, because I always recommend this food to new clients and new owners. If there is a common thread to the ferrets with problems or some warning I should give in addition to the recommendation, I certainly want to be able to do that.

You might try removing all EVO foods from his diet. My kids had
serious problems (diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, lethargy) while on
EVO. After spending a small fortune on vet visits and various meds I
removed the EVO from their diet and all issues cleared within one
weeks time. I know of a good number of others who have had the same
types of problems with EVO as well.
