Hi Bobbi

When ferrets grind their teeth it usually means stomach pain which often is
due to a stomach ulcer. My Bobbi has been on prednisolone for about 9
months and even though I give it after he's eaten, it could have made his
stomach sore or caused an ulcer. He's so far, fingers crossed, stopped the
tooth grinding so it seems the Carafate is helping. I am not sure but maybe
bad teeth could cause a ferret to grind it's teeth, too? Have you checked
Old Timer's and Bonnie's teeth? It might be a good idea to take them to the
vets for a check-up and if teeth are fine and the vet has ruled out other
illnesses, maybe try the Carafate for them.

Ulrike
