Thanks Kim,

Our ferret dipsy has an all white head and is roan from her shoulders
back. She, however, seems to be perfectly healthy and well adjusted.

Ember is also coming along nicely. (She is roan all over, including
the top of her head) We know that she is not deaf as we have tested
her with a cat ball that has a bell in it. She does the war dance in
response to shaking it and runs away when it is rolled in her
direction, so its pretty obvious that she can hear it. Fully testing
her vision has been harder as she can either faintly detect shadows or
simply has unbelievable hearing. The manner with which she turns her
head to follow movement or sound is never immediate, she's always a
second or two behind so I'm sure that she is at least somewhat
visually impaired.

Now that we've become aware of how to interact with her differently
she seems to be perfectly happy. She has even figured out the height
and scent of the couch and has become brave enough to jump off by
herself. (an action that I definitely don't encourage, but
regardless i take as a sign of adjustment).

Thanks again for everyone's input. We will continue to keep you posted
on her continuous progress :)
