Using Lupron injections and Ferretonin implants together is one of the
accepted non-surgical treatment protocols for AD and I would talk to your
"new" vet about that. Bravo to you for getting a second opinion and pursuing
the best treatment for your ferret so vigorously. If, after some period of
months, the symptoms return, I would seriously consider going ahead with
surgery (taking age, behavior, overall health, etc. into consideration) if
you can afford it. Over the last decade I've known many people who have had
numerous Adrenal surgeries done with very positive outcomes.
