I actually did a rescue on a ferret that was ORANGE! yes, orange!!
They were feeding her some Hartz brand ferret food. UGH!! Her name
was Macy but everyone wanted to name her Pumpkin. I didn't want to be
reminded of the horrible conditions she came from. I hear that if a
white ferret has excessive oils that turn them yellow/orange you can
get a 50/50 mix of play sand and unfertilized dirt for them to play in
and it really helps.
