Gaylein,
You may want to look at this site that has a couple of books on ferret husbandry, May have what you are looking for. Might also do a search with your search engine for a ferret anatomy chart. Have seen it somewhere in one of my previous searches.
Hope Jake continues to improve. Just continue to monitor his water and food intake.

Subject: [ferrethealth] My Ferret Jake
Hi all
Some time ago I posted about my 2 and a half YO Jake, he is my sable male
ferret. I posted that he was loosing his tail hair. Some of you said it was
Adrenal Disease. Well that is totally what it was. Plus he had a small mass on
it. Yesterday he had surgery. They took the right gland and the mass, the
mass is not cancer. He is doing very well, other then he is separated from his
litter mates for the next 10 days, and I have a VERY depressed female! (his
buddy) He is very upset at the fact he is wearing a cone. Which we had to modify
because he was squeezing though it and pushing around the incision. After
some fixing by my husband he can't squeeze out or squeeze it around his waist
any long.
So far he is a little punch drunk but has eaten and went potty as well 1&2.
The vet expects a full recovery!
I also have a question Does any one know where I might be able to get a
hold of an anatomy book on ferrets?
Thanks a bunch
Gaylein & the Fantastic 4
