To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>
For my insolinomic ferrets I take a can of K/D mixed with a can of A/D and add KD kibble that has been softened in water for a few hours or overnight, add a jar of lamb baby food and a bit more water into a blender and blend till it is like a gravy. Depending on the ferrets like or dislikes, you can add more water for soup or use less water for a soup consistancy. All my insolinomic ferrets with kidney failure as well as my older cats with kidney failure get this and it seems to keep their kidneys in check! Hope this helps.
