I am not vet. I would not use the stridex pads. There is some kind of
organism that lives in the pores and blocks the pore with that black
substance. When I have rattail I apply Revolution in the grown cat size
according to instructions except I apply a dose every two weeks for
three doses. That will kill the organisms and the blackheads loosen up
where you can remoce them with a soft tooth brush. Then the hair will
grow back.
