Dear Sukie,
The little guy is not well. He developed something like red bruises
under the skin. Anemia? Red areas were the hair is missing.
I have weighed him today, he is down another 50 g. His ideal weight
would be 1300g now he is just under 1000g.
Food intake about 6 measured teaspoons per day. Fluid intake I
haven't measured. He does drink a lot but also he makes big wees.
The vet has consulted a ferret-knowledgeable vet. We received very
good advice but we are afraid it's much too late. We keep him very
comfortable and let Nature take it's course.
He deteriorated so fast. 10 days ago we were still playing crazy, 3
days later I had to take him to the vet. And it's all downhill since.
Thank you,
Ben
