Subject: [ferrethealth] Adrenal ferret/2 vets - was "Update on my ferret Herb"

First of all, I want to thank you all for you concern and input on this, your help is greatly
appreciated! Sukie, thanks oodles for all the great links you provided. I've printed out a
bunch of pages I need to read up a little and condense info to present to both vets. I feel bad
for portraying the second vet in such a poor light. Making him sound incompetent. I very well
may have information overload and I'm willing to give him the opportunity to clear things up
for me. I am calling his office tomorrow armed with information that I've gained from this list
and from some of the links Sukie provided. From a cursory review of the information it seems
that Lupron, Meletonin and maybe Deslorelin are the medications of choice for palliative
treatment. I have my appointment with vet #1 this Saturday and will discuss all of this with
her then as well, see if I cannot get her to open up some more and get more information on
the US findings (besides the enlarged right adrenal tumor).
Do you all have anything to add for me? Something I should not forget to mention to the vet
etc., suggestions along those lines?
