Yes I agree that without some of the classical clinical signs being
present, that this is premature to diagnose insulinoma. It needs more
readings to be taken to get a feel for the average glucose level over
time or for some lethargy, hind end weakness, balance and lack of
alertness to be present with levels over 65-70. If levels go below 60
then it is almost certainly insulinoma (fasting or not).

If insulinoma is suspected it is very unwise to fast at all as a
hypoglycemic episode may well be triggered.
