Although it has been discussed regularly on this list, I don't think any
definitive answers have to come to light yet about urine drinking by older
ferrets. Two of my ferrets over the years, both over 5 years of age, drank
their own urine for no apparent reason and with no apparent ill
effects. Neither of their vets could determine any cause. Check the archives
here for past discussions and if any light bulbs go off over your head, let
us know. :)
