I agree with Dr. Murray. I have used selamectin extensively in ferrets for
heartworm control and for mange treatment and saw no ill effects whatsoever.
The reports that I have seen of possible reactions to selamectin are not
confirmed, IMO, and dosing reports in those cases is confused.
