Your kit is the third I have heard of. The other was being seen by a vet for
coccidia, they then ran a smear and sent it off to Cornell, it came back
positive for distemper. The kit was euthanized. Hypothetically speaking,
could Marshalls have missed vaccinating a litter? Do the kits get any
protection from distemper from the mother, providing the mothers are
vaccinated? By the way, since A Pets was closed down in Romulus, MI the pet
store is now getting them from Illinois. I know this for a fact since my
husband works there.
