i am really confused why your vet feels the need to sedate for a simple melatonin injection. does she insist on sedation for regular vaccines?

Yes, I'm getting more suggestions for non-sedation vs. sedation. But, if my
vet isn't comfortable doing it without sedation shouldn't I allow her to use
the sedation? I'm going to be making some calls tomorrow to see if I can't
find another vet that can do this.

Thanks for this!

Laura
