I also live in Wisconsin and had a hard time finding a ferret
experienced vet. What I did was call some ferret shelters and ask them
if they knew of anyone, they are very familiar with most area vets and
might know of one nearer to you. The best ferret vet in the state is
in Madison which is about 70 miles from you. This is a link to her site.
