I know a couple of really excellent ferret vets here in my area of
southern cal - but SoCal is a large area. and I may be way south of
you. I'll email you privately and give you their contact info. You
might also join a group - Orange county has www.ocferrets.org, San
Diego has www.ferretsanon.com - both have links to veterinarians who
treat ferrets.Some veterinarians in CA advertise that they treat
ferrets - its perfectly legal for them to do so, but word of mouth is
often your best bet.
