Just so folks know, I contacted pet stores in NJ where I am that buy from MF and they have
kits ranging in age from 8 weeks to 4 months, all without health problems.
A dear friend recently found healthy young MFs in Florida pet stores.
So, this appears to be localized to certain areas in the midwest where people have reported
seeing some.
If it were one store then that might be implicated, but it sounds like it might involve a small
smattering of kits from multiple stores, all in certain segments of the midwest. That speaks
to the origin possibly being one involving transportation or distribution.
