Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Ferret Distemper Vaccine

The distemper vaccine does not change their personalities. If it
makes them ill or not feel well, they will be more quite and
lethargic. Lethargy should not be considered a desireable trait
when it comes to a ferret.

For the most part, as they age they will quiet down a little. But
not all do - some retain their kithood dynamo pizzaze well into their
senior years.

In terms of the foot or ankle biting - wear slippers. Even my most
gentlest and quiet ferret will bite my feet if I neglect to cover
them.
