Your vet may be wondering if the
immunoblastic-polymorphous variant
of lymphoma is present, the clumping
form that may be caused by a viral
exposure a few years before. You

Lymphoma is not always easy to
spot. I've known vets whose own
ferrets did not have it found until it
was very advanced or until the ferret
passed. We had two whose lymphoma
was only found on their final days.
Steve and I have had others who had it
found early and got as long as 14 months
with treatment.
These days there are some new and far
more gentle chemo protocols and there
is information about those in the FHL
Archives. Search on

or both
