Hello Sukie (and FHL) --

I am just seeing how our posts are structured. I alluded to some
things in your last post when I answered Nanci's post, so I wont
repeat them here.

Thank you for all the info and so many specific links. I'll be
printing everything out and passing it on to Dr [Name removed as per
FHL rules].

Believe it or not, there is no animal clinic here w a microscope...
In fact, I haven't seen one with a computer. And there are no labs
at all. Yet we have a very fine vet. Can you imagine practicing
under these conditions?

Which is why Dr X and I are going full-bore to get a diagnostic
lab started here. Then, or at the same time, a treatment clinic w
modern equipment.

[Moderator's Note: in the meantime, rather than bring in animals
that they can't find information for or the equipment to treat it might
pay to stick to animals they can treat till things have improved for new
family members with four legs.

Is it possible for them to work up an arrangement with the veterinary
college in that city:

ETHIOPIA
Debre Zeit-College of Veterinary Medicine, University of
Addis Ababa ]
