Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Lyme Disease
Aggression can be a symptom of Lyme disease (whether or not its in
dogs, cats, people or ferrets) because Lyme can be neurological. As
such, personality changes are very common in lyme patients even though
pain may/may not be present.
Treatment with antibiotics in accordance with the CDC-approved protocol
does not guarantee a cure. Lyme can be treated and remain subclinical
for many years.
