If it is a rectum issue, it is sometimes a result of straining to
defecate and the food or the bacterial flora in her intestines is what
most likely causes it. I'd cut out the baby food as it would
definitely contribute. Also, you might want to try some of the
Lactobacillus acidophilus to restore her digestive ability from all
the bacteria.

Just to cover both bases, are you positive it is the rectum and not a
swollen vulva?
