Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Possible Batch of Bad Food?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I just spoke with someone from 8-in-1 and they did tell me that for a
short period of time they had changed the brand of chicken meal they
were using which would attibute to the change in color but that the
food should NOT smelled burned. The lady said a burned smell could
signal a bad batch but that they have not made a product recall. They
have since switched back to the original chicken meal. I was told that
my questions would be forwarded to the company's Quality Control
group. She said she would send me two new bags of food so my fingers
are crossed that the problem has been rectified at least at the
company's end.
