Subject: [ferrethealth] Weird thing happened with an Implant
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

My Fizzle is 7 years old, she is adrenal, has IBD and Insulinoma, but
she's still wobbling along. She has had Melatonin implants every 4-5
months for a few years, and it's seemed to help her. She had her last
one about 1 1/2 months ago. The weirdest thing happened last week. I
saw a scab on her shouler and thought Drew was being too rough with
her. I gently pulled the scab off and under it was some white stuff. I
thought it was pus, but as I started to pull at, it came out, it was a
melatonin implant! I don't know if it was the new one, or if it's an
old one, so I guess I'll have to wait to see how her fur starts
looking. Does anyone know if she gets another implant, and it was the
new one, would it hurt her?
