Thank you for posting my request.
The CBC & Chem Panel were done and all Normal. The only blood work
that was out of line was the white count and it was only slightly
elevated and after oral antibiotics.
We just got back from visiting him at hospital and he actually seems
more lethargic. He's still (28 hours now) on IV drip with
antibiotics. Vet will add some B vitamins as well. Does not want to
start pred in case Ultrasound shows lymphoma. She indicates that
pred makes the chemotherapy for lymphoma less effective. His
respiration is rapid but does not appear to be strained. There are
no indications of insect/spider bite.
