Subject: [ferrethealth] Ruby's subcutaneous mass
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Ruby has a subcutaneous mass slightly dorsal to her armpit. It is definitely associated with
the skin and not her lymphnode and not attached to her other organs-you can pick the mass
and the skin up. It is about the size of a dime, eliptical and flat. It is not ulcerated or crusty.
Wondering if anyone has seen anything like this in their own ferrets or practice? She will
have it removed and histopath done in two weeks, but just wanted to hear any other's
experiences. Thanks, Kathryn
