Yikes! I am a very claustrophibic person so this description gave me
the heebie-jeebies!! LOL

My vet inserts a catheter and pushes the solution through that while I
am holding my pet. No anesthesia is used at all. It is very quick and
peaceful. I have a friend who is a vet tech at that clinic. She has
told me that it is done the same way even if the client is not
present.
