Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Cost of surgery

As others have already posted costs vary considerably for the same
procedures. Any sort of ferret surgery in my area (Halifax, Nova
Scotia) runs around $1000.00, rarely less, often more. My vet usually
gives me a break on his fees - the bulk of the costs tend to be for
blood work, anesthesia, IV, etc.
