Subject: [ferrethealth] behavioral question
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts for me on this one....

My mom takes care of my two year old female Izzy when I go out of
town. Also, since I live with my parents right now, my mom will let
Izzy out to play if I am going to be home from work late. Anyways,
Izzy picks on my mom! She constantly is chasing after her and nipping
her ankles. She will bite on to her arm and try to roll her. My mom is
tolerant of all of this, as Izzy doesn't seem to be trying to cause
harm. But, she is definitely playing very rough. As I said, my mom is
tolerant, but I think it hhurts her feelings...like Izzy doesn't like
her. My mom is the only one she does this to. I am curious as to why
Izzy is this way to her and not to me. My mom is her "other mommy" in
terms of caring for her, so it seems odd to me that she would be
treating her more like a litter mate. Any thoughts?
