I got a question when Brutus my blind ferret got his distemper and Rabie shot he started to lose hair about a week or so after
he had none that I know of b4 that with me
I adopted him from the SPCA in Feb 2008 and all I know for a fact is he was on antbiotics but they said they didn't know why and that is why I had to wait to get him.
I now have him on 1mg melatonin every day and with fingers crossed and hoping my rebate check will be in in july I will be starting him either on lupron or melatonin injections either way he will be seen by Dr X with a game plan for his health so he will live comfortably,
Brutus is about 5 to 7 yrs of age he is a white well I am not sure he is neither a silver but may be a dew I can not see his eye color he has cataracts that look like stars and people comment on how it looks like he has stars in his eyes which he may have since he has found his forever home here with loads of love from his 7 lil terror buddies of mayhem (think I spelled that right lol)
Anyway if this may be helpful in any studies I will be glad to help but I wont put him thru test after test one blood sample should be enough if not it will be 3 to 6 months for any vet to get anymore blood from him but I want a cure for the horrible things these lil guys suffer but not at the sacrifice of his comfort and they would have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt the xtra test are or will be necessary .
