I've had 5 un-descented and 1 with a botched descent (ducts were
removed, glands were not) and have never seen any redness in those
that had no problems. The one with the botched descent did have
redness and swelling when the glands became impacted and 1 other had
redness and swelling when the glands were effected by cancer.

A photo of the botched decent (who is also adrenal, hence the hair
loss)....

Also wanted to note that when the glands are expressed the area will
be wet, so this is not necessarily a sign that anything is wrong.
