Oh, but Izzy IS treating your Mom like a litter mate! When ferrets
play with each other they play rough....they chase, they bite, they
wrestle. All of mine play with me this way and I feel quite honored
that they do! If your Mom is bothered by the behavior, however, she
can teach Izzy not to do it. When Izzy bites, your Mom should stop
whatever she's doing, tell Izzy "No bite!" and give her something else
to do (perhaps give her a favorite toy). Izzy needs to be shown what
is acceptable and what is not.
