Subject: [ferrethealth] Has anyone used kaminox, or potassium supplements for people, in a ferret?

I saw a mention of kaminox in the archives, but no dosage info. My gal
with cardio who is on 3 mg furosemide bid is beginning to become
hypokalemic (it's at 3.7 mEq/L). I got human potassium supplements for
the weekend, but I know it's just as bad to have too much as too
little. Guidance would be appreciated. The vet (not my regular, who's
out of town; we'll call this one Dr. Backup), said I can pick up
Kaminox on Monday, but he had no idea about dosage.
