No, not everyone tests for ADV in the U.S.

In fact, there are some areas here where ADV HAD been thought to be rare or non-existent
UNTIL people began testing. Gee, that explained a few medical problems which had been
relegated to general diagnoses before then...

Also, sometimes it doesn't get called "ADV" in some countries but is instead referred to by
one type of aberrantly high test result common to ADV.
