Subject: [ferrethealth] Daisy is sick again

A few people gave me some ideas about Daisy my 1 1/2 yr old ferret
after I took her to the vet and now I need more help.
She was sick a few weeks ago with the same thing she started doing
again last night.
She is sleeping all the time. Has what looks like seizures. She gets
stiff and gets a far away look. Cant stand up...wobbly.....still
eats...drinks and goes to the bathroom ok.
Took her to the vet last time and he took blood...did tests....nothing
came up. She was having all these symptoms when he gave her the blood
test. He gave her a shot and sent me home with a bottle of medicine
that says 1 1/2 gr (10) Phenobarb on it 2 times daily. It also has
vitimans in it. She got much better but not a complete recovery. Now
she's back a week later to the same behavior.
Lethargic....weak....what looks like seizures .... breathing fast then
looks like she relaxes...starts shaking but stops after awhile....
As she was getting better I stopped giving her the meds thinking she
didnt need them anymore. Could this be why she's sick again?
Back to the vet? Any help is appreciated.
