I have found that deaf ferrets are more prone to dead-ferret sleep,
especially young ones. My Spitfire became a complete ragdoll when
sleeping when she was a kit.
It can also be a sign of possible insulinoma, but in a 7-month-old who
is extremely active otherwise, that's so unlikely that I wouldn't even
consider it.
Use it to your advantage and sneak in a nail-trim! ;)
