Pfizer, the manufacturer, says bathing your pet 2 hours after
application does not affect efficacy. I use another product on my dogs
and try to bathe at least three days prior to applying it, just as a
precaution.
I notice you said you put "drops" on them. Maybe it's just
terminology, but ferrets need a FULL dose monthly. You can use the
kitten dose. For heartworm prevention as well, you need to use the
FULL cat dose. The kitten dose is only about 90% effective against
HWs. The cat dose has a much larger success rate.
